In the 1960s, he ended up in the United Kingdom. In the 1980s, the V8-powered sedan benefited from a lengthy restoration. He then spent years in a museum before appearing on the big screen in 1988 in the hit film Who Framed Roger Rabbit. This film has played an important role in film history. The current owner &#8211; who has owned the car for 27 years &#8211; has tried to preserve its originality and status. An extensive file of paperwork, bills and MOTs, an original Ford De Luxe instruction booklet and &#8220;drive-in instructions&#8221; confirm that the owner clearly took care of this Ford. Car &amp; Classic&#8217;s five-day auction begins August 19.
