Lucid Air Pure: the specs<\/h2>\n
The Lucid Air Pure has a starting price of 115,000 euros. For that amount, you get a family sedan with a 480-hp powertrain with a driving range ranging from 660 to 725 kilometers according to the WLTP test standard. The base version of the Air Pure has a single engine with rear-wheel drive. Optionally, Lucid provides a Dual Motor version with all-wheel drive. The system power will remain the same.<\/p>\n
Colors<\/h2>\n
The Stellar White Metallic color is standard. Other colors include Infinite Black Metallic, Cosmos Silver Metallic, Quantum Grey Metallic, Zenith Red Metallic or Fathom Blue Metallic. All colors other than Stellar White have an additional cost of 1,020 euros.<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n
Wheels<\/h2>\n
Lucid supplies standard 19-inch Aero wheels with Pirelli P-Zero AS+ 245\/45R19 tires all around. Those who pay 2,000 euros more get 20-inch Aero Lite wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport EV 245\/40R20 tires at the front and 265\/40R20 at the rear. On the Pure, the interior is always done in the Mojave PurLuxe theme, inspired by a dark desert night.<\/p>\n
DreamDrive or DreamDrive Pro?<\/h2>\n
Let’s talk about driver assistance systems. As standard, the Lucid Air Pure has DreamDrive driving assistance system. Optional brand supplies DreamDrive Pro. That will cost as much as 10,000 euros. What is the difference? DreamDrive includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Speed Limit Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Protection, Front Cross Traffic Protection, Rear Cross Traffic Protection, Traffic Sign Recognition and Traffic Drive-off Alert. The optional Pro version includes autonomous driving when the time is right. So basically, you prepare the car for autonomous driving. Lucid provides a Surreal Sound sound system as standard. Surreal Sound Pro will cost you an additional 3,500 euros.<\/p>\n
Alternatives<\/h2>\n
A full-option Lucid Air Pure will cost you 131,520 euros below the line. That still makes a fully equipped Pure a bit cheaper than a Lucid Air Touring. It is available starting at 134,000 euros. One difference, though: the Touring already has 620 hp. You can also order this Touring with a Stealth with panoramic glass roof, but you’ll already pay 8,642 euros for that feature. You understand: the price of a Touring also rises quickly. And the question is whether you miss an extra 140 hp. Even 480 hp seems more than enough to us. A Tesla Model S starts at 107,490 euros. A Plaid trim comes from 132,490 euros.<\/p>\n
