Despite its compact size, it offers plenty of space and convenience. More than 230,000 Scalas have already been sold worldwide. Shortly after the introduction of the Scala came the Kamiq. You will recognize this compact SUV by typical SUV features, such as high entry and exit, a high seating position and good road visibility. The Kamiq has already sold 351,000 units worldwide.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/skodakamiq3-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-163577\"><\/figure>\n<h2>What&#8217;s new?<\/h2>\n<p>The updated Scala now looks more dynamic, thanks to a new grille, headlights and front and rear bumpers. So-called air curtains are also available. All these modifications are inspired by the design of the \u0160koda Vision RS concept car.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/skodascala1-2-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-163581\"><\/figure>\n<p>Instead, the updated Kamiq looks a bit tougher, with a more upright grille and diffusers integrated into the bumpers. The headlights have also changed: the upper light element has become flatter, while the lower units have become larger.<\/p>\n<p>Both models, the Scala and the Kamiq, are available with Matrix LED headlights, featuring hexagonal Matrix modules. The LED modules have a crystal-like appearance, reminiscent of sparkling ice cubes or gemstones, according to the brand.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/skodakamiq1-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-163580\"><\/figure>\n<h2><strong>Sustainability<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>More durable materials have been used in both models. For example, the water tank under the windshield, the wheel arch trim, various interior trim materials, floor coverings and floor mats are made from recycled plastics. Fibers from natural materials such as hemp and kenaf have been incorporated into several trim panels and the structure of the headliner.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/skodakamiq2-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-163583\"><\/figure>\n<p>The Scala is optionally available with a &#8220;rough road&#8221; suspension with 15 mm additional ground clearance. Sport Chassis Control is available for both the Scala and the Kamiq. This offers a choice of two shock absorber settings. This lowers the Scala&#8217;s chassis by 15 mm and that of the Kamiq by 10 mm.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/skodascala3-2-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-163582\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Interior<\/h2>\n<p>In the interior, we discover few new things. Some other materials are available and the climate control unit has received two additional physical buttons &#8211; for ventilation speed. Each new Scala and Kamiq comes standard with an 8-inch digital instrument panel and a centrally located 8.25-inch infotainment screen. Monte Carlo models see black accents and handmade &#8220;carbon-leather&#8221; details in the interior, referencing \u0160koda&#8217;s successes in Rally Monte Carlo.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Scala and Kamiq The Scala was first introduced in 2019.
