The confirmation required to start the charging session now takes place automatically and directly between the car and the charging point, without requiring a charging card or a special app on the smartphone.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Ioniq-6-3-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-161104\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Ioniq 6<\/h2>\n<p>Currently, the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/EesT4Wx3kk0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ioniq 6<\/a> is the first Hyundai electric car to support the Plug &amp; Charge system. In the future, Plug &amp; Charge will also be available for other Hyundai models, such as the Ioniq 5 and the new Kona Electric. With Plug &amp; Charge, it is not only easy to charge, but also easy to pay. No more manual authentication is needed with an app or charging card.<\/p>\n<h2>Ionity<\/h2>\n<p>Not only the car, but also the charging station must be suitable to use Plug &amp; Charge. Hyundai works closely with Ionity and Digital Charging Solutions, two key players in the field of (digital) charging solutions, among others.
