Just as we did with the Cupra Born at the time, we now want to underline the essence of Raval and continue to inspire the world from Barcelona,&#8221; explained Cupra CEO Wayne Griffiths.<\/p>\n<h2>2025<\/h2>\n<p>Production of the Cupra Raval will take place SEAT S.A.&#8217;s main factory in Martorell, near Barcelona. The company is investing 3 billion euros to transform the plant from ICE to electric cars and will produce electric cars based on the Volkswagen Group&#8217;s MEB Small platform starting in 2025. SEAT S.A. is responsible for the Small BEV cluster for several brands within the Group.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/cupra-raval-foto2-1140x641.jpg\" alt=\"CUPRA Raval\" class=\"wp-image-158277\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Also as a Volkswagen: the ID.2<\/h2>\n<p>For its part, Volkswagen is also coming out with a model under the ID.3. That car is going to be called the ID.2. The <a href=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wordt-de-elektrische-volkswagen-id-2all-een-bestseller\/\">Volkswagen ID.2all<\/a> already gives a taste of that car. Thanks to that Volkswagen, we already know a bit about what specifications Cupra and Volkswagen have in store. Indeed, the ID.2 is 4.05 meters long, 1.81 meters wide and 1.53 meters high. The wheelbase is 2.60 meters. Luggage space measures 490 to 1,330 liters. The models have front-wheel drive. The ID.2 has an electric motor with an output of 166 kW (226 hp) and an expected range of up to 450 kilometers. Charging the battery pack from 10% to 80% takes about 20 minutes. The ID.2all Concept sprints from 0-100 km\/h in less than 7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 160 km\/h.
