The new record was set with a modified No. 1 Classic SE during a Speed Weekend in \u00c5rsunda, in northern Sweden. It went seriously fast on the ice surface: 155.14 mph. RGNT already held previous world speed records: that of the fastest A1 motorcycle on ice (135.03 km\/h) and that of the fastest production electric motorcycle on ice (114.3 km\/h).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-27026\" src=\"https:\/\/motorrai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/RGNT-Aurora-4.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Specs of electric ice racer<\/h2>\n<p>The race machine blessed with the name Aurora that set the record was designed specifically for this purpose. A group of RGNT employees put it together. The electric motor (in the rear wheel) of the production version No.1 Classic SE has been boosted from 21 kW to 30 kW. Maximum torque has been boosted to a whopping 390 Nm.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-27024\" src=\"https:\/\/motorrai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/RGNT-Aurora-2.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Light and streamlined<\/h2>\n<p>The ice racer weighs only 160 kg because a relatively small battery pack was chosen. After all, it was not about a hefty radius of action but about achieving a momentary high speed. Studded tires with spikes provided the necessary grip.
