This powerful engine produced 315 hp and had 410 Nm of torque, allowing the RS2 to reach a top speed of 262 km\/h and sprint from 0 to 100 km\/h in just 4.8 seconds. The unique five-cylinder engine &#8211; albeit with 0.3-liter more engine capacity &#8211; is also used in today&#8217;s Audi RS3. It is a masterpiece from Audi. It was the first time Porsche had been involved in the development of an Audi model, and the result was a car that was a perfect blend of sportiness and practicality. The collaboration between the two companies was so successful that it paved the way for further cooperation between Audi and Porsche, including the production of the Porsche Cayenne. The car was ahead of its time, offering unparalleled performance and handling, without compromising on the practicality and functionality of an estate car. The RS2&#8217;s success spurred Audi to continue the development of other performance estate cars, such as the wildly popular Audi RS6.
