Well briefly: only now, eight years on, has it arrived.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-27011\" src=\"https:\/\/motorrai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/LiveWire-One-8-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Market launch LiveWire One<\/h2>\n<p>Initially, Harley Davidson promised market launch in January 2019. There was a kink in the electrical cable. The development phase took longer. In 2021, it came out that LiveWire would continue as a separate brand with Harley Davidson as a shareholder. The road to independence also had its share of bumps (financial and otherwise), which were eventually overcome. Production has now begun, so has delivery in the United States, and the first LiveWire One copies will land in Europe in a few weeks in April.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-27017\" src=\"https:\/\/motorrai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/LiveWire-One-5-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Range LiveWire One<\/h2>\n<p>In terms of appearance, the production version is quite similar to the prototype from eight years ago. The specs, especially the driving range with a full battery, are a notch better. The LiveWire One offers a range of up to 224 km. But then you have to drive mostly in the city. With highway included, that drops to about 150 km. It sprints from 0-100 km\/h in three seconds. The electric motor is good for 100 hp and 113.8 Nm of torque. The LiveWire One weighs 255 kg.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"761\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-27016\" src=\"https:\/\/motorrai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/LiveWire-One-4-1140x761.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Fast charging?<\/h2>\n<p>Charging on a fast charger takes only 30 minutes from 20 to 80 percent capacity of the 15.4 kWh battery. At a 220-volt outlet at home, charging takes up to 11 hours, depending on the remaining power in the battery, and moreover, this is a 100% charge. These are fine numbers that are in line with other electric motorcycles on the market in Europe.<\/p>\n<h2>LiveWire One driving assistance<\/h2>\n<p>Traction control, cornering ABS and a slipper clutch are standard. The traction control is adjustable in three modes. There are five driving modes to choose from: Sport, Road, Rain, Eco and Custom to personally choose the settings of the systems. As usual with all electric motorcycles, you can pair your mobile with the digital cockpit via Bluetooth.
