The race took place in the south of the country, in the metropolis of Hyderabad. The drivers faced tough conditions. The temperature rose toward the start to a high of 37 degrees.  <\/p>\n<h2>Eleventh victory<\/h2>\n<p>Two-time Formula E champion in the Jean-\u00c9ric Vergne started the race from the second starting spot, but grabbed the lead shortly before halfway through the race. The Frenchman then held off Australian Nick Cassidy (Envision Racing) and Portuguese Ant\u00f3nio F\u00e9lix da Costa (Porsche) in the DS E-TENSE FE23. Vergne thus took his 11th victory in his Formula E career and, for DS Automobiles, the 16th victory in the Formula E championship.<\/p>\n<p><em>Text continues below the photo<\/em><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Formula-E-DS-Automobiles-en-Jean-Eric-Vergne-winnaars-in-India-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-150845\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Overall ranking  <\/h2>\n<p>Pascal Wehrlein (Porsche) crossed the finish line in fourth place and maintains the leading position in the overall standings. The number two in the standings, Jake Dennis, finished 16th in India. Robin Frijns was absent from Hyderabad, breaking his wrist during the opening Formula E race in Mexico City.<\/p>\n<h2>Cape Town<\/h2>\n<p>The ninth season of the Formula E championship continues on Saturday, Feb. 25, at a brand new track in Cape Town, South Africa.
