How times have changed. Ford&#8217;s new bus is packed with modern technology. Each Ford E-Transit Custom is equipped with a 13-inch infotainment screen, which runs the SYNC 4 system. Behind the steering wheel, you can get a digital instrument cluster. Just about every driver assistance system you can think of is also present. Think Pre-Collision Assist, Lane-Keeping System, Driver Alert, cruise control with adjustable speed limiter, traffic sign recognition, Intelligent Speed Assist and we could go on and on&#8230;.  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/FordTransitCustom_LimitedVan_ArtisanRed_001-1-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-146793\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Steering wheel on lap<\/h2>\n<p>Also nice: the steering wheel is extra special and you can &#8211; when standing still &#8211; lay it flat. They you can work up a nice burger to your stomach without messing around. You can also easily place a laptop &#8220;on&#8221; the steering wheel. Ideal, if there is no construction shack on site.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/E-Transit_Custom-Mobile_Office_table-1536x864-1-1140x641.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-146790\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Tow weight<\/h2>\n<p>Nice that luxury, but of course you don&#8217;t buy it for that. Can that one pull a bit? The towing weight of a Custom equipped with automatic transmission is a whopping 2,500 kg. The manual versions have a towing weight of up to 2,800 kg. So hauling a construction skeleton is a breeze. The Transit Custom is available with power ratings from 110 to 170 hp.  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/FordTransitCustom_LimitedVan_ArtisanRed_002-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-146794\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Electric Ford Transit Custom<\/h2>\n<p>Two powertrains are available for the E-Transit, the electric Transit Custom, with a choice of a 136-hp and 217-hp electric motor. In both cases, you have 415 Nm of torque at your disposal. This E version may tow up to 2,000 kilograms and load up to 1,100 kilograms. As a closed van, the new E-Transit Custom has a load volume of 5.8 to 9.0 m3.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/FordTransitCustom_LimitedVan_ArtisanRed_013-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-146795\"><\/figure>\n<h2>What does the new Ford Transit Custom cost?<\/h2>\n<p>The first versions of the Transit Custom can be ordered in the Netherlands starting today. Prices start from 31,670 euros (Trend, 110 hp EcoBlue) and is available as L1 or L2. The luxury Limited version with 136 hp EcoBlue diesel engine is on the price list starting at 34,110 euros. Prices for the <a href=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/elektrische-ford-e-transit-alle-details\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">electric E-Transit<\/a> will be announced by Ford at a later date.
