We forgive you if you think you’ ve been tricked<\/a>, because we too had to look twice to figure out exactly what’s new about the 2023 Nissan GT-R. Just don’t click away, because there are some changes to be seen. Thus, Nissan optimized the GT-R’s aerodynamics and the Japanese modified the design of the front bumper and grille to achieve that effect. Under the butt of the GT-R now adorns another diffuser with central rear fog light. The extra sporty GT-R Nismo gets a new rear spoiler to complement it.<\/p>\n

Interior Nissan GT-R 2023<\/h2>\n

So is the interior of the GT-R going to get a more drastic overhaul? That, too, is not the case. The GT-R even still has largely analog instrumentation, something that can be called quite unique in this day and age. The size of the infotainment screen did not change either. The only change in the range goes to the GT-R Nismo: namely, it gets new Recaro bucket seats made of carbon fiber.<\/p>\n

Same power, further refined<\/h2>\n

Nice all around, but what about the power output of the well-known 3.5-liter twinturbo V6? The answer is simple: unchanged. The regular GT-R still produces 570 hp; the Nismo kicks it up to 600 hp. Nissan does say it has further refined the driving characteristics with a new type of suspension and carbon-ceramic brakes. Onboard noise and vibration should also be further reduced, making the GT-R more comfortable. The latter obviously applies to a less predominant extent to the Nismo version.<\/p>\n

Price Nissan GT-R 2023<\/h2>\n

Now for the big downside from the introduction: the updated Nissan GT-R is not coming to Europe, but is staying in Japan. So we cannot give a price. Nissan already took the now 16-year-old GT-R R35 off the market on our continent a while back, and that’s where it ends. The question is whether Nissan will ever come up with a successor to the legendary model. This design<\/a> would be a nice basis for that….<\/p>\n
