What crisis?<\/h2>\n

In times of high inflation, it is quite extraordinary that many producers of luxury goods are doing so well. While manufacturers of mainstream consumer cars are struggling, several premium car brands are doing better than ever. For example, sales at Rolls-Royce increased 8 percent in 2022 compared to 2021. This smashed that year’s sales record. In total, the brand sold 6,021 cars. An extraordinary amount, considering that the average Rolls has a price tag of 527,787 euros.<\/p>\n

Cullinan is a success<\/h2>\n

Most of the cars were sold in the US and China. In Russia, sales collapsed due to the war with Ukraine. Exact figures by model are not released by Rolls-Royce<\/a>, but the brand does state that the Cullinan <\/a>is currently the best-selling model. Strange is not, even at Lamborghini – a sports car manufacturer – it is an SUV that tops the sales charts: the Urus.<\/p>\n

2023<\/h2>\n

Again this year, things are looking good for the stately brand. According to Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten M\u00fcller-\u00d6tv\u00f6s, order books are already filled well into 2023. Rolls-Royce is also introducing a new model this year: the Spectre. It is the first all-electric model from the British. Pre-orders are piling up, according to the CEO. So another sales record is not far away.<\/p>\n
