Many records have been set there, not only with motorcycles but also with cars. In fact, with a car there, 1223.657 mph was set as the record by Andy Green with a jet engine-powered Thrust SSC. Sitting upright is no way to do that, so Robinson lay in a sort of riding cigar case, which when stationary was held upright by two folding side wheels. This TOP 1 Ack Attack covered the Bonneville Speedway twice, then averaged the speeds of both stints. Because only then will a speed record be recognized.<\/p>\n<h2>Fastest woman on two wheels<\/h2>\n<p>By the way, the world speed record on a motorcycle for a woman is more recent. Valerie Thompson drove 528.616 mph on her BUB 7 Streamliner. She set that record in 2018 at the Dry Lake racetrack in Australia. Logical, since there have been no electric motorcycles for that long. The record was set in November 2021. Ex-MotoGP rider Max Biaggi then drove 455.737 km\/h on a Voxan Wattman. And so Biaggi could add another streak to his hefty list of victories. He has four world titles in the 250cc road racing class and two world titles in the World Superbike Championship.
