The low center of gravity, a manageable weight and considerable torque (143 Nm) at relatively low rpm contribute to this. One at a time, the seating position is not too extremely forward, so you can get great mileage on the RS and long rides do not result in stiff wrists.<\/p>\n<h2>BMW ShiftCam technology<\/h2>\n<p>Engine, frame, suspension, brakes and seating position will not change for the new 2023 model year. The BMW R 1250 RS continues to deliver 100 kW (136 hp). Thanks to BMW ShiftCam technology for variable valve timing and elevator on the intake side, the boxer offers plenty of pulling power throughout the rev range, very smooth and quiet running and reasonably economical fuel consumption.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-26302\" src=\"https:\/\/motorrai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image010-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>BMW R 1250 RS standard with ECO driving mode<\/h2>\n<p>Some tinkering with that consumption is possible because the R 1250 RS gets an ECO driving mode as standard. Then the throttle response is more moderate and the engine delivers less torque. If you&#8217;re a little short on power, you can turn off that power saving mode while driving. Then again, that&#8217;s nice, especially if you want to overtake quickly uphill.<\/p>\n<h2>More electronic assistance<\/h2>\n<p>For 2023, the BMW R 1250 RS gets significantly more electronic assistance systems that are sure to make riding just a little more fun. Especially if you like a more sporty driving style. Dynamic Traction Control is now standard and so is Dynamic Brake Control. The latter system provides additional safety when braking. It helps with emergency stopping in difficult situations and will prevent unintended gas input. This keeps the motorcycle stable and shortens the braking distance.<\/p>\n<div class=\"galery galery-26291\">\n<figure>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/motorrai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image005.jpg\" data-fancybox=\"galery-26291\" title=\"\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/motorrai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image005-360x270.jpg\" alt=\"\"><i class=\"fa fa-search-plus\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><br \/>\n\t\t\t<\/a><br \/>\n\t\t<\/figure>\n<figure>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/motorrai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image001.jpg\" data-fancybox=\"galery-26291\" title=\"\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/motorrai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image001-360x270.jpg\" alt=\"\"><i class=\"fa fa-search-plus\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><br \/>\n\t\t\t<\/a><br \/>\n\t\t<\/figure>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>BMW Driving Modes Pro<\/h2>\n<p>The new R 1250 RS is optionally available with Riding Modes Pro. That offers individually adjustable driving modes. Engine torque control is also new as a component of Driving Modes Pro. This system prevents instability by reducing braking forces on the rear wheel during engine braking or downshifting.<\/p>\n<h2>BMW Integral ABS Pro<\/h2>\n<p>The latest edition of the sport tourer R 1250 RS also comes standard with BMW Integral ABS Pro. This provides even more safety when braking on curves. It is partly integral. This means that when the brake lever is squeezed, front and rear wheels are braked simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-26296\" src=\"https:\/\/motorrai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image004-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Super! Sport Core Screen<\/h2>\n<p>As before, the new R 1250 RS features a large TFT color display with integrated arrow navigation and extensive connectivity. We know it from the previous generation. It has excellent readability and a clear menu structure. You can choose from several views. New in this is the Sport Core Screen, which displays real-time information on current and maximum lean angle and the possible intervention of systems such as ABS Pro or DTC.<\/p>\n<h2>LED lighting<\/h2>\n<p>Furthermore, the R 1250 RS gets newly designed LED turn signals and daytime running lights. You can check buddyseat heating for rider and passengers in the options list soon. The heater is individually adjustable, in five settings for the rider and two for the passenger.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-26301\" src=\"https:\/\/motorrai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image009-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Higher and wider handlebars available<\/h2>\n<p>A tubular handlebar is available as a new option. The tubular handlebars are slightly wider and higher than the standard handlebars and somewhat straighter in shape. Optional style options include Sport and Triple Black. The first has the blue-white-red colors and a solo seat, and the Triple Black has three shades of black\/dark gray.
