Hippie Caviar Motel<\/h2>\n

With the Hippie Caviar Motel, Renault specifically appeals to travel-hungry adventurers. The all-electric motorhome features smart storage options and, of course, a bed. Not only in the interior, but also on the outside of the car there is room to store stuff. There is a large roof rack on top of the car and the roof also features a large panoramic sunroof.<\/p>\n

Durable materials<\/h2>\n

The floor and storage areas are made of recycled tires and cork, making the electric camper extra durable. The passenger seat can be folded back, creating a bed. This way you can enjoy the starry sky – unfortunately on your own. <\/p>\n

Renault Kangoo E-Tech electric.<\/h2>\n

The car is based on the Renault Kangoo E-Tech electric. In the bottom of the new electric Kangoo lies a 44 kWh battery, on paper good for 300 kilometers of range. The Hippie Caviar Motel is a bit heavier than a regular Kangoo E-Tech and therefore gets 15 kilometers less distance.<\/p>\n

3-phase charging up to 11 kW is standard on the new Kangoo. In 2 hours and 40 minutes the battery pack is back to 80%. 22 kW AC charging is also available on a regular Kangoo E-Tech Electric for an additional charge, if you want to charge twice as fast. Quick charging can be done up to 80 KW. You can then top up about 170 kilometers in 30 minutes. <\/p>\n

There is little chance that Renault will put the minicamper into production, but with the Hippie Caviar Motel, the brand wants above all to demonstrate what is possible with the new electric Kangoo. In the video below, we tell you more about the colorful camper. <\/p>\n
