Nissan Nismo<\/strong><\/h2>\n

After some 15 years, the curtain seems to be falling on the Nissan GT-R. The model has been removed from the price list worldwide and no successor has yet been announced. According to Nissan chief Ashwani Gupta, fans need not worry. He told AutoRAI.nl earlier this year<\/a> that the GT-R and 400Z will return to Europe, but only when they are electrified. When that will happen is not yet clear. Those who cannot wait for a new GT-R should catch a plane to Canada like a rocket. There, in fact, is a very rare, brand new GT-R50 for sale.<\/p>\n

Nissan GT-R 50<\/h2>\n

The 2019 Nissan GT-R50 entered the market in a very limited edition and is the result of a collaboration between Nissan and Italdesign. Nissan celebrated the 50th anniversary of the
\n Nissan GT-R<\/strong>
\n<\/a> and Italdesign their 50th anniversary. Hence the name GT-R50. Production ran from 2019 to 2021 and a total of only 19 units were built. The base for the model was the Nissan GT-R Nismo. <\/p>\n

720 hp<\/h2>\n

So under the hood you will find a twin-blown 3.8-liter V6. However, the engine is not standard. In fact, Nismo – Nissan’s performance division – has gotten its hands on the V6. Power has been boosted to 720 hp and 793 Nm of torque through new injectors, connecting rods, intercoolers, among others. The GT-R50 also has a new exhaust system and larger turbos. To bring the violence to a stop, Nismo turned to Brembo for a set of gooey brakes. The color of the Japanese beauty is Liquid Silver Metallic, a 25,000 euro option.<\/p>\n

Italdesign<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Italdesign is a design house based in Turin and is part of Audi. The Italian automaker’s best-known project is the Italdesign Zerouno. This is basically a Lamborghini Hurac\u00e1n, but with all-new sheet metal. After the Lamborghini Hurac\u00e1n, in 2018 it was time for the Nissan GT-R50. <\/p>\n

Price unknown<\/h2>\n

The first owner of the Nissan GT-R50 has not driven a single mile with it. Currently, the car is for sale at Legendary Motorcar Company <\/a>in Canada. The car ended up there after the first owner traded it in on another car. The Canadian company does not publish a price with the Nissan GT-R 50. We do know that the Nissan the GT-R50 had a new price of one million dollars. The current price will have risen considerably by now, since it is an exclusive model and, moreover, so no successor to the GT-R has been announced yet. <\/p>\n
