That&#8217;s why Jeep is starting small when it comes to its all-electric model line. In fact, the Jeep Avenger lands in the B-segment and thus enters the same pond as the Peugeot e-2008, Renault M\u00e9gane E-Tech Electric and Hyundai Kona EV.  <\/p>\n<h2>B-segment is booming!<\/h2>\n<p>Currently, Jeep offers the Renegade in this segment; the Avenger comes in ranked just below the Renegade. By the way, Jeep chooses this segment for a reason: it is expected to account for total sales of 2.2 million cars as early as next year. So this is the pond you do have to fish in. The Avenger is 4.08 meters long, making it 16 cm shorter than the Renegade. The short front and rear overhangs create powerful proportions.<\/p>\n<p>Jeep plans to introduce four all-new and electric models in Europe by 2025. So after the Avenger, more EV models are coming our way.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/12_jeepavenger-63499286cd21f-1140x760.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-134438\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Jeep Avenger specifications, with Peugeot technology<\/h2>\n<p>The specifications of the Jeep Avenger are really hardly surprising to those familiar with the electric powertrains of the PSA part of the current Stellantis. The Avenger gets an electric powertrain with an electric motor on the front axle and output of 156 hp and 260 Nm of torque. Those are exactly the same figures as the updated Peugeot e-208 and the new e-308.  <\/p>\n<h2>Range Jeep Avenger<\/h2>\n<p>In the bottom of the Jeep Avenger lies a 54 kWh battery pack, which on paper should allow a WLTP range of 400 kilometers. In the WLTP city cycle, Jeep even talks about 550 kilometers. The battery is composed of 17 modules and 102 cells. The NMC 811 lithium-ion battery &#8211; as the battery is called on paper &#8211; consists of 80 percent nickel, 10 percent manganese and 10 percent cobalt.  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/14_jeepavenger-6349927173aee-1140x760.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-134439\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Battery charging<\/h2>\n<p>If the battery is empty, you can fast charge at a charging rate of up to 100 kW. Specifically, that means being able to charge the battery from 20 percent to 80 percent in 24 minutes. At a public charging station, you can charge with up to 11 kW, which means you can charge the battery from 0 percent to maximum capacity in 5.5 hours.<\/p>\n<h2>Terrain capabilities Jeep Avenger<\/h2>\n<p>Jeep says nothing about its acceleration figures and top speed in the Avenger&#8217;s press release. Instead, they feel it is more important to emphasize the compact plug-in&#8217;s off-road capabilities. Although the Jeep Avenger does not have all-wheel drive, Jeep says it should be able to go a fair distance off the beaten path.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/13_jeepavenger-6349927dbdd1b-1140x760.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-134441\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Driving modes Avenger<\/h2>\n<p>The Avenger is the first front-wheel-drive Jeep to come standard with Selec Terrain and Hill Descent Control. The Selec Terrain system offers six settings: &#8216;Normal&#8217; for regular daily driving, &#8216;Eco&#8217; to maximize range, &#8216;Sport&#8217; for extra driving pleasure, &#8216;Snow&#8217; for grip on slippery roads, &#8216;Mud&#8217; for driving in unpaved, muddy terrain and &#8216;Sand&#8217; to reduce the risk of getting stuck in sand.<\/p>\n<h2>Interior<\/h2>\n<p>In the interior of the Jeep Avenger, the upper part of the dashboard, with its horizontal &#8220;bar&#8221; immediately attracts attention. This houses the air vents, interior lighting and a centrally located 10.25-inch touchscreen that can be seen by both the driver and all passengers. Below it, the dashboard offers a large, wide open storage area. Jeep provides optional leather-trimmed seats that are electrically adjustable and have a massage function.<\/p>\n<p>The luggage compartment has a capacity of 380 liters. The width of the luggage compartment opening is over a meter. The tailgate opens electrically at will, which is quite special in the Avenger segment.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"543\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/25_avenger-634c1e37b192c-1140x543.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-134434\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Infotainment system<\/h2>\n<p>Each Jeep Avenger is equipped with a 10.25-inch Uconnect Infotainment system with a full digital instrument cluster in two screen sizes: 7- and 10.25-inch. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are, of course, available. TomTom navigation with enhanced voice recognition functionality and over-the-air updates are also available in this compact Jeep.<\/p>\n<h2>Driver assistance systems<\/h2>\n<p>The Jeep Avenger is available with several driver assistance systems. Think adaptive cruise control, a lane assistant and a traffic jam assistant. In any case, know that the Avenger 1st Edition costs 40,500 euros in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<h2>Equipment Avenger 1st Edition<\/h2>\n<p>The striking Jeep Avenger 1st Edition is available in three color combinations &#8211; Sun (yellow) with the roof in Volcano (black) and Granite (gray) with the roof in Volcano &#8211; or full Volcano. This version features privacy glass, 18-inch alloy wheels and front and rear LED lights. In the interior, multicolor ambient lighting is standard, as well as a yellow panel on the dashboard, heatable seats with yellow accents, a heatable windshield, a cushion on the center console, a height-adjustable floor in the luggage compartment and a hands-free tailgate.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the &#8220;Launch Edition&#8221; features the Uconnect 10-inch infotainment system with a 10.25-inch screen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay\/Android Auto and wireless smartphone battery charging with a wireless charger.<\/p>\n<h2>Personalize<\/h2>\n<p>The Jeep Avenger is extensively customizable. This is evident in the model debuting at the Paris Motor Show. That&#8217;s an Avenger in the color Granite Grey with a Volcano roof. That one features a decal with X-Camo pattern on the hood, blue accents and Avenger logo. This version is on 18-inch wheels in Gloss Black color with blue accents, referring to the electric drive.<\/p>\n<p>In the interior, the flap of the center console features an &#8220;e&#8221; logo on the outside and X-Camo pattern on the inside. The Tychy plant combines all four steps of production: pressing of body parts (performed by an external party since 1998), welding (which is 99.5 percent automated thanks to 921 welding robots), painting and spraying (also more than 90 percent automated) and assembly on two production lines. The Tychy plant has produced an impressive 12.5 million cars since 1975 through September 2022.
