Drop it where it’s hot<\/h2>\n

Well, Porsche Tequipment now has one of those ultimate mobile sleeping places in its portfolios. Intended for the 911, Taycan and Panamera. While this official Porsche accessory also fits on the roof of a Macan and Cayenne, but – say it yourself – those models don’t lend themselves as well to an epic road trip on the world’s best steering roads.<\/p>\n

Room with a view<\/strong><\/h2>\n

When folded, the roof tent by Porsche Tequipment looks like a ski trunk that has grown out of its size. The design comes from the Weissach Development Centre in collaboration with Studio F.A. Porsche. Optimal aerodynamics guaranteed therefore. Once the rooftop tent is fully unfolded, it provides an accommodation with a floor area of 210\u00d7130 cm. That will be nice and cozy spooning when you’re not alone.<\/p>\n

A mattress is included and to allow the tent to be used during all 4 seasons, the tent fabric and zippers are waterproof. Several typical Porsche details<\/a> such as special piping and Porsche logos complete the picture. If you look closely at the shape of the window openings, you will even recognize the 911 silhouette in them. Finally, the price; it is 4,980 euros in Germany.<\/p>\n
