But the chances of us seeing Max Verstappen driving an F1 car with the Porsche logo on the rear wing in the future now seem very small. Negotiations between Porsche and Red Bull have broken down and a collaboration seems definitely off the table. The reason why the two brands do not want to talk further is known.<\/p>\n<h2>50 percent<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/audi-en-porsche-stappen-de-formule-1-in-deal-zo-goed-als-rond\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Porsche<\/a> not only wants to supply engines for the team, but wants to become a co-owner. In fact, they want to take over fifty percent of the team. This is going a step too far for the Austrian racing stable, which is why the talks eventually stalled. However, the German carmaker still has an appetite for an F1 adventure, they let us know in a <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.porsche.com\/en\/2022\/motorsports\/porsche-ag-red-bull-gmbh-no-partnership-formula-1-29660.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">statement<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Over the past few months, Dr. Ing. H.c. Porsche AG and Red Bull GmbH held talks about Porsche&#8217;s possible entry into Formula 1. The two sides have come to the conclusion together that the talks have come to an end<\/p>\n<p>The basic premise was always that a partnership would be established on an equal footing, which would include not only an engine partnership, but also the team. This could not be achieved. Nevertheless, with the new rule changes, the Formula One class remains an attractive option for Porsche.
