Well, first of all because a DAF comes from Dutch soil. But even more fun is that the DAF 66, thanks to its Variomatic transmission, can go forward and backward at the same speed. Of course, that in particular is fodder for fun content. Verstappen and Tsunoda took a seat in a prepared DAF and tried to drive a lap around Zandvoort in reverse as quickly as possible, with a number of obstacles along the way.<\/p>\n<p>Wondering how the gentlemen did and if the DAF&#8217;jes survived?
