Defender Works V8 Trophy II<\/h2>\n

Meet the classic Land Rover Defender Works V8 Trophy II. Rolls off the tongue nicely, doesn’t it? It is in fact a new, old Defender. In fact, the Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II is based on the Defender from model year 2012 to 2016. 25 examples will be stripped down and rebuilt by hand by Land Rover Classic.<\/p>\n

23 locations<\/h2>\n

The exterior features a black and white camouflage pattern developed by the Land Rover Special Vehicles design team. The camouflage pattern features 23 locations from the many expeditions in which Land Rover has participated over the past 70 years. These include historic off-road competitions as well as recent expeditions in regions from South Africa to Laos and Peru.<\/p>\n

Don’t think white, don’t think…<\/h2>\n

The body is finished in Fuji White, with a contrasting Narvik Black roof and Gloss Black exterior elements. All rivets, screws and air vents have also received a lick of black or white paint. The 18-inch Gloss Black Sawtooth alloy wheels complete the exterior. At the front, an “A” frame with an integrated winch provides protection to the grille. The hood is finished in Satin Black to prevent reflection from bright sunlight. In addition, the 1.27 meter wide LED light bar ensures good visibility in the dark.<\/p>\n

Over 400 hp<\/h2>\n

The Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II is powered by the 5.0-liter V8 gasoline engine with 405 hp and 515 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front and rear axles via an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. Almost all of the Defender<\/a> ‘s old parts are making way for new, stronger and more modern stuff. Think stronger suspension, steering improvements and a more powerful braking system. The Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II comes in three flavors: 90, 110 Station Wagon and also as a 110 Double Cab Pick-Up. Of the 25 examples, Land Rover<\/a> Classic will build only five units of the Double Cab Pick-Up, while the remaining 20 will be divided equally between the 90 and 110 Station Wagon.<\/p>\n

Interior<\/h2>\n

The interior also features new goodies, such as Recaro sport seats in black and white Windsor leather with contrasting stitching and leather trim that stretches across the dashboard, doors and headliner. Everything is finished by hand. There’s also a modern infotainment system, something you definitely didn’t get in an old Defender<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With the Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II, the lucky owner receives not only a unique Land Rover, but also an invitation to participate in the second exclusive, three-day Land Rover Trophy. Buyers will also receive an Elliot Brown watch with the same camouflage design as the Defender.<\/p>\n
