Mini Aceman<\/h2>\n

Meet the Mini Aceman Concept. It is – as the name suggests – a concept car. In a year and a half, the production version will be launched. It is 4.05 meters long, 1.99 meters wide and 1.59 meters high. This puts it between the Mini Electric<\/a> and the Countryman in Mini’s model lineup. <\/p>\n

design<\/h2>\n

The new design language of the Mini Aceman Concept stands out. The Aceman looks less traditional. According to the brand, it marks the beginning of a new design era at Mini. So expect more Minis to look like this in the future. The central “grille” is no longer hexagonal, but octagonal and completely closed. The headlights of the MINI Concept Aceman also have a new shape, following the edges of the hood. <\/p>\n

No chrome<\/h2>\n

There are no chrome strips between the sheet metal and the windows. The smooth transitions are somewhat reminiscent of the new Range Rover. Wide sill strips, hefty wheel arches, an eye-catching roof rack, and front and rear floor protection panels give the Aceman a rugged crossover look. The Union Jack design, which of course refers to the brand’s British roots, can again be seen in both taillights, as well as on the roof rack.<\/p>\n

Round screen<\/h2>\n

The dashboard is nicely MINI-malistic and contains only a few elements, exactly as the designer of the classic Mini, Alec Issigonis intended it to be in 1959: an interior that, apart from the seats, steering wheel and gear lever, included nothing more than a centrally placed round speedometer and a row of switches. Also in the Aceman, you encounter nothing more in the interior than a round screen, with a number of rocker switches underneath. We will know what the final production version will look like in a year and a half. <\/p>\n
