End of Seat?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A major reorganization within the VW group could mean the end for Seat. During an annual press conference of the Spanish brand, it was announced that there are no partially or fully electric Seats in the pipeline. A death sentence, in 2022. Reason enough for the business council to sound the alarm. The Spaniards call it incomprehensible that the 70-year-old brand is being turned down.<\/p>\n

cupra<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Seat CEO Wayne Griffiths preferred to speak during the press conference about the future of Cupra and all the beautiful things that the brand new brand has now put down. The big boss also announced four new Cupra models, which should be on the market in 2025. Cupra has plans for another<\/a> hybrid SUV, but the Tavascan Concept<\/a> must also go into production by then. There was not a word about new models from Seat. <\/p>\n

Electric Seat<\/h2>\n

It has been known for a while that the focus is now almost entirely on Cupra. For example, the Cupra Born once saw the light of day as the Seat El-Born: the first serious electric Seat (after the Mii with limited range). However, the El-Born was transformed into the first electric Cupra \u2014 the Born \u2014 so that Seat is still without its own EV.
