The Dutchman finishes second and Valtteri Bottas third. Max&#8217;s teammate, Sergio Perez falls short for Q3 and qualified disappointingly in P11. Pierre Gasley in the AlphaTauri surprisingly takes fifth place in the grid. Sebastian Vettel receives a grid penalty for ignoring a yellow flag and must start the race from last place. The race on Sunday started with a setback for Red Bull and Sergio Perez. Due to software problems, it seemed that the Mexican had to let the race pass. The Red Bull mechanics managed to get the car up and running, but that meant Perez had to start from the pits. An unbelievable catch-up race follows and he eventually finishes in fifth place.
