Mazda CX-60<\/h2>\n

Mazda is expanding its model range with a new SUV: the CX-60. It is the new top model from Mazda and is the first plug-in hybrid from the Japanese. Under the hood is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine \u2014 which is linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission \u2014 and a 136 hp electric motor. The engines together are good for 327 hp and a solid 500 Nm. Mazda has never brought such a strong production car to the market for consumers. The hefty SUV accelerates from 0-100 km\/h in just 5.8 seconds.<\/p>\n

economical<\/strong><\/h2>\n

But you don’t buy a PHEV to beat your neighbor at the traffic light. Although that is of course a good thing. It’s all about low fuel consumption, of course. If you hang the CX-60 neatly on the charger every evening, you can cover 63 kilometers every day completely electrically. You may not drive faster than 100 km\/h, above that the petrol engine kicks in. No problem in the Netherlands, you might say. According to Mazda, the average fuel consumption is 1.5 l\/100 km, which corresponds to CO2 emissions of 33 g\/km. So very economical.<\/p>\n

battery pack<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The 17.8 kWh battery pack is located low in the floor, between the front and rear axle. The center of gravity is therefore low, which benefits the driving characteristics. The permanent four-wheel drive also provides extra control and grip.<\/p>\n

Six-in-line<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Mazda will later introduce three other powertrains for the CX-60: a 3.0-litre e-Skyactiv X petrol engine and 3.3-litre Skyactiv-D diesel engines with two different power ratings. These six-cylinder engines are mated to a new eight-speed automatic transmission as standard.<\/p>\n

Four versions<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The CX-60 Plug-in Hybrid is available in four versions: the Prime-line, Exclusive-line, Takumi and Homura. All models already have a number of nice things as standard, such as dual-zone air conditioning, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, DAB radio, Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a navigation system and cruise control. The Exclusive-Line, Takumi and Homura can also be equipped with various option packages: Driver Assistance, Convenience & Sound, Panoramic and the Comfort pack.<\/p>\n

Interior and technology<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In the interior we detect three screens: a fully digital instrumentation for the driver, a Head-Up Display and a 12.3-inch infotainment display in the middle. A similar set-up is also in the updated Mazda CX-5<\/a> , which we recently tested<\/a> .<\/p>\n

The Mazda CX-60 also has the latest version of Mazda Connect and is always equipped with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. The car is always connected to the internet, so that you can see, for example, where you parked your car via the MyMazda app, but you can also unlock the doors remotely via the app.<\/p>\n

Practical<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Mazda CX-60 is 4.75 meters long, 1.9 meters wide and 1.7 meters high, with a wheelbase of 2.87 meters. It is in every way a bit bigger than the CX-5. According to the Japanese, even people with a large build can sit fine in the back seat.<\/p>\n

The luggage compartment measures 570 liters and if you fold the rear seats down you are at 1,148 liters. Loading and unloading is slightly easier with the CX-60 compared to the CX-5. The  width of the tailgate opening has been increased to 1.08 meters (35 mm wider than with the CX-5). An electrically operated tailgate \u2014 which can be opened with a foot movement under the rear bumper \u2014 is of course available, as is the case with the CX-5.<\/p>\n

Prices Mazda CX-60 Plug-in hybrid<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The CX-60 is available from 51,690 euros. For this you get the Prime-line, the most robust version of the model series. The exterior features a black grille, full LED lights, black window surrounds and 18-inch gray metallic alloy wheels.<\/p>\n

Above that is the Exclusive line, which is available from 53,190 euros. Additional features on this trim include a piano black honeycomb grille, piano black window surrounds, 20-inch silver-grey metallic alloy wheels, front and rear signature lighting, smart keyless entry and wiper de-icer.<\/p>\n

For the Takumi variant you pay a minimum of 57,190 euros. This version features an exterior with a specifically designed front bumper, a piano black grille with honeycomb pattern, high-gloss metallic finish on the front fenders, side trim and window surrounds and 20-inch polished aluminum alloy wheels in metallic black .  <\/p>\n

The Homura version is extra sporty and you can drive from 55,690 euros. The equipment of the Homura corresponds to that of the Exclusive version, with the extras the luxurious finish in the interior and exterior, leather upholstery and ambient lighting.<\/p>\n

Mazda CX-60 lease price<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The CX-60 Plug-In Hybrid is available with private lease from \u20ac 649,- incl. VAT (based on 60 months and 10,000 km) and available with operational lease from \u20ac 599 excl. VAT (based on 60 months and 10,000 km). On Mazda.nl<\/a> you will find more details about the available option packages and prices of the CX-60.<\/p>\n

The CX-60 Plug-In Hybrid is expected to hit the showroom floor in the fall. In 2023, the brand will launch a new model larger than the CX-60 and featuring three rows of seats: the CX-80.<\/p>\n
