It was the brand&#8217;s first fully developed car in Europe and the model is also only sold in our continent. The car had the distinctive name Cee&#8217;d. How did that name come about? Kia named the car after its market: the European Economic Community, also referred to as EEC or CEE. European Design was added to this, resulting in CEEED. Because that was a lot of E&#8217;s, Kia replaced one of them with an apostrophe. So. In most respects they continued along the same path, but a number of things have changed. The name of the car, for example, or at least its spelling. The apostrophe has now been removed from the name and Pro_Cee&#8217;d will be written simply as Proceed.
