As the type name implies, the car is part of the Ceed model line. In addition to the regular hatchback, the regular station wagon and the coup\u00e9-like station wagon, there is now also this high hatchback, which also has a somewhat coup\u00e9-like roofline. In terms of dimensions and technically, the Xceed is closest to the regular Ceed hatchback.<\/p>\n\n<p>In 2019, Kia added another crossover to its model range: the Xceed. As the type name implies, the car is part of the Ceed model line. In addition to the regular hatchback, the regular station wagon and the coup\u00e9-like station wagon, there is now also this high hatchback, which also has a somewhat coup\u00e9-like roofline. In terms of dimensions and technically, the Xceed is closest to the regular Ceed hatchback.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Plug-in hybrid<\/strong><br\/><\/h2>\n\n<p>In terms of positioning, however, the Xceed is mainly the sportier and more emotion-oriented alternative to the Niro. The Xceed also comes with an optional plug-in hybrid powertrain. In addition, a diesel with mild hybrid technology and the rest of the engine range consists of regular petrol engines.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Equipment<\/strong><br\/><\/h2>\n\n<p>Kia calls the Xceed one of the most richly equipped cars in its class. That may well be right, because there is enough on the equipment and options list. Particularly noteworthy is the new UVO Connect. That is a new infotainment system with a built-in SIM card.
