In addition to the regular hatchback variants, there were also convertibles and sedans and the station wagon variant can still be found in the showrooms. In 2004 a new version was added: the Golf Plus.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The height in<\/strong><br\/><\/h2>\n\n<p>However, the Plus was not so much a direct body style of the regular Golf. The Plus was in fact a height-stretched version of the Golf and therefore also had its own bodywork. In a sense, the Golf Plus was the smallest MPV of the brand. The CrossGolf, a Golf Plus with cool off-road clothing, also appeared in 2006.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>hipper<\/strong><br\/><\/h2>\n\n<p>After a new Golf, a few years later, in 2013, it was also time for a new Golf Plus. However, the car had to be a bit hipper than the first model, so in addition to a tighter and smoother appearance, the name also changed. Henceforth the model was called Golf Sportsvan. In appearance, the car is now more of a small Touran and therefore slightly more MPV-like.
