What did Mazda do with the Mazda 2?

January 27, 2023

Current Mazda 2 since 2014

The Mazda 2 appeared on the market back in 2014. Then we are not referring to the 2 Hybrid, which is based on the Toyota Yaris Hybrid. No, Mazda carries two 2-types. Both models will also remain in the lineup for now, according to Mazda Netherlands spokeswoman Marieke Mantje. Whether this updated Mazda 2 – already presented in Japan – will also find its way to Europe, the Dutch importer cannot confirm, but also cannot deny.

198 new color combinations

If the car does come, at least customers will be able to indulge in several new personalization options. Another grille? Colorful wheels? It’s all possible. The colors Airstream Blue Metallic and Aero Gray Metallic are completely new. It is even possible to order a roof in carbon fiber look, at no extra cost! In all, there are 198 new color combinations.

Mazda 2 in the Netherlands

Mazda delivers the B-segment hatchback in the Netherlands starting at 19,790 euros. There is a choice of a 1.5 Skyactiv-G gasoline engine with 75 hp or 90 hp. The hybrid version based on the Yaris comes from 24,990 euros.
