Watch out for police Porsches during F1 weekend at Zandvoort
All F1 drivers will introduce themselves to the public from twenty original National Police Porsches during the Drivers Parade on Sunday. The riders are in the various open versions deployed by the Dutch National Police between 1962 and 1996.
Drivers Parade
In addition to the appearance of the typical Dutch Rijkspolitie Porsche during the Drivers Parade, this edition will again focus on Porsche’s rich racing history during the High Speed Demo held prior to the F1 race.
Spectacular Porsches
To this end, Porsche Netherlands has brought together a number of spectacular racers who will drive a number of fast laps. Among them are the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup versions of the 991 and 992 with which the Supercup was and is driven, a 991 GT2 RS Manthey Racing, the 2018 935 in honor of Porsche’s 70th anniversary, and a 991 GT3 R. Classic air-cooled models such as the 964 Cup and the 911 RSR IROC are also not missing. And of course, the iconic 911 Carrera RS 2.7 ‘ducktail’, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, will also be present at Zandvoort.
