The Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport Edition 50’s suspension is lowered 15 millimeters and features Dynamic Chassis Control with adaptive dampers. The front axle has a mechanical limited slip differential and the steering is progressively tuned for a more direct steering feel. With the optional Performance package, the car gets Bridgestone Potenza Race semi-slicks, stiffer springs, an even lower suspension and an R-Performance exhaust system developed in collaboration with Akrapovic.
Design and interior design
In terms of styling, the Edition 50 stands out with black and red 19-inch Queenstown rims, special GTI 50 logos, red belts and pedals, and bucket seats with the familiar checkered pattern. The exterior features a black roof, Tornado Red accents and GTI Clubsport badges.
Standard equipment
The car comes with extensive standard equipment, including LED matrix headlights (IQ.Light), a 32.8 cm navigation screen (‘Discover Media’), heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Travel Assist, reversing camera, Keyless Access and three-zone air conditioning.
Personalization
Buyers can choose from five body colors, including Pure White, Moonstone Grey, Grenadilla Black metallic, Dark Moss Green metallic and Tornado Red. Various rim designs and additional packages are also available, including Assistance Package Plus, Multimedia Package Plus with head-up display and Harman Kardon audio, a panoramic sunroof/tilt roof and power-adjustable sport seats with leather upholstery and ventilation.
The price
The Golf GTI Clubsport Edition 50 can be ordered now and is expected at Dutch dealers in the spring of 2026. The starting price is 81,990 euros.
