Video: Rimac Nevera narrowly dodges Renault
Two million euros
No matter how good your insurance is, you’re not looking forward to crashing into a car worth over two million euros. Last week on the Autobahn near Düsseldorf it almost hit you. A silver Renault and an extremely expensive Rimac Nevera came dangerously close to colliding.
Unexpected
Nothing seemed wrong, until the Renault unexpectedly decided to take an exit. The driver of the French car slowly steered to the right – exactly in the direction of the hypercar. Only at the last moment was the turn signal turned on, in an attempt to make up for the unexpected action.
Air brake
The driver of the Rimac acted with lightning speed. With a firm kick on the brake pedal and the spoiler immediately shooting up as an air brake, he managed to avoid a collision. A costly collision did not happen – fortunately for the Rimac owner, but perhaps even more so for the driver of the Renault. In fact, the dangerous maneuver was captured by a dashcam and posted on Instagram. The footage could have led to a simple insurance issue in the event of a collision. You can watch the video below:
