Used motorcycle imports to record in 2022
In 2022, 17,675 used motorcycles were imported through November, the highest number ever. The Bovag expects to pass the 18,000 mark by the end of this year. Imports are thus 3.7 percent higher than in 2021.
Increase in motorcycle imports
The upward trend has been evident since 2014. About 9,500 motorcycles were imported that year, and the number has only continued to rise since then. Except in 2020, when RDW inspection stations were closed in the spring due to corona.
More than 50,000 motorcycle deals
Consequently, the demand for used motorcycles in the Netherlands has been high for quite some time. The specialty trade sold more than 50,000 used cars in 2022 for the third year in a row.
