The Toyota FT-Me is a compact two-seater less than 2.5 meters in length. Its design focuses on maneuverability and takes up half of a regular parking space. When parked at right angles, the vehicle can even occupy one-third of a parking space. The shape is inspired by a jet helmet and has a bi-tone color scheme in black and white. This gives the vehicle a robust look.
Accessible mobility
The FT-Me is designed for a variety of users, including young people and professionals. In certain markets, the vehicle can be driven as young as 14 years old. The design offers flexible features, such as a customizable layout and the option to transport wheelchair users. Thanks to a 360-degree vision concept, drivers have good contact with other road users. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with connectivity features, allowing a smartphone to be used as a key and to access services.

Durable design
Toyota has paid close attention to sustainability with the FT-Me. The vehicle is largely recyclable and uses recycled materials. CO₂ emissions are significantly reduced compared to conventional urban vehicles. Energy consumption per kilometer is three times lower than that of a battery-electric car with a large battery. Solar panels on the roof can recharge the battery and provide an additional range of 20 to 30 kilometers per day in urban environments.
Practical features
The FT-Me can serve as a second car within a household and is aimed at a wide audience, including families, students and professionals. The vehicle is suitable for car sharing and offers various personalization options. A smartphone acts as the infotainment system and key. There is also a luggage compartment and the light passenger seat is removable, creating a storage space of 1.6 meters. This makes the vehicle practical for large purchases, for example.
