This is what the new DS 7 costs
Three versions, plug-in hybrid only
We previously reported that the DS 7 will only be available with plug-in hybrid powertrains, with a choice of three different power levels: 225, 300 or 360 hp. The DS 7 E-Tense 225 is equipped with a 180 hp gasoline engine and a 110 hp electric motor combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The E-Tense 4×4 300 and 4×4 360 both feature a 200 hp gasoline engine and are equipped with all-wheel drive thanks to an electric motor on the front and rear axles (110 and 112 hp, respectively).
Six versions
When assembling the DS 7, have a choice of six trim levels: Bastille+ (€53,440), Rivoli (€57,740), Opéra (€63,240), Performance Line (€54,440) and Performance Line+ (€57,440). The observant reader counts only five equipment levels. Indeed, the sixth deserves its own paragraph.
La Première version
The sixth and also exclusive and limited edition is the La Première. This version features black logos, special badges and a high-gloss black finish for the front spoiler lip, DS Wings, grille, window moldings and roof rails. It comes standard with virtually every option. For the interior, you can choose from the Basalt Black Opéra or Pearl Grey Opéra interior, which features the familiar DS Automobiles watchband nappa leather. This version is only available with the E-Tense 4×4 360 drivetrain.
Up to 81 kilometers range
All plug-in hybrid versions feature the same 14.2 kWh battery. This enables a 100% electric range of up to 65 km (WLTP) and up to 81 km according to the WLTP City cycle. With the 7.4 kW charger, the battery can be fully charged in about two hours.
Nice to know is that the DS 7 E-Tense 4×4 360 – meaning the top version – has been tuned by DS Performance. Among other things, they looked at optimizing energy management, road handling and fitted larger brakes.
