This costs the most powerful Abarth of all time
Two versions
For the Abarth 600e, you have a choice between the Turismo with 175 kW (240 hp) of power and the Scorpionissima with 207 kW (280 hp). Both models are equipped with a 54 kWh battery, giving the Turismo a range of 332 km and the Scorpionissima a slightly lower 321 kilometers according to the WLTP standard.
Prices
The 600th Scorpionissima is Abarth’s new flagship, and not just in terms of performance. It is fatter dressed and full of useful goodies, such as a wireless phone charger, a power tailgate and ambient lighting. And as mentioned, the Italians are building only 1,949 examples. The starting price? 49,990 euros. The Turismo comes from 45,990 euros.
Sports equipment
The new Abarth 600e promises that electric driving is more than just going hard straight ahead. The mechanical limited slip differential should add to the fun when cornering, while Alcon brake discs are ready to keep things cool and stable. And for the real Abarth feeling, the 600e, like its little brother the 500e, has a sound generator that produces the familiar engine sound. So you don’t have to miss that typical Abarth hum. Sporty Sabelt seats and the 20-inch alloy wheels complete the picture. The interior has not been forgotten either: including a steering wheel covered in Alcantara and an infotainment system including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Specific driving modes
Abarth offers different driving modes tailored to various driving conditions, such as city traffic, twisty roads or even a day at the track. For example, the Turismo version can customize the driving experience with modes such as Turismo, Scorpion Street and Scorpion Track, varying the car’s torque and settings for an optimal driving experience. For those who opt for the limited Scorpionissima, the driving modes are tuned just a bit more powerfully. For example, in the sportiest mode, this version reaches a top speed of 200 km/h and shoots from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.85 seconds
