This bizarre hypercar is for sale as an occasion in Friesland
Futuristic design
With their sharp lines and striking design elements, the Hiphi X and Hiphi Z look like they are straight out of a Star Wars movie. The Hiphi X, a luxury SUV, and the Hiphi Z, a sporty coupe, are designed to impress and perhaps even shock. The futuristic appearance of the Hiphi Z in particular is a case of love it or hate it. But one thing is certain: you stand out with these bolides.

Impressive performance
In terms of performance, these cars are not inferior to established brands such as Tesla or Porsche. The Hiphi X boasts 439 kW (598 hp), while the Hiphi Z boasts a whopping 492 kW (670 hp) and shoots from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. Both models have a range of about 500 kilometers on a full battery.

A unique opportunity?
Both models were never officially introduced to the Dutch market. Human Horizons, the parent company behind Hiphi, has never officially set foot in our country. That makes the total of four examples standing at dealer Eeltje Talstra in Friesland a rarity in the Netherlands. So for Dutch people looking for something truly exclusive, this is a chance to own a car that no one else has.

The big but…
Unfortunately, there is a big drawback to these Chinese EVs. Human Horizons went bankrupt last year, which means there is no official support for the cars anymore. This can cause considerable problems. If something breaks, such as something as simple as a turn signal housing after a collision or a technical defect in the advanced propulsion system, it is virtually impossible to find parts. Even simple repairs are a challenge because there is no official network of dealers or mechanics.

Although the cars are currently in perfect condition – they are new and have only 50 kilometers on the odometer – a small problem can quickly lead to major problems. Therefore, for the average car buyer, it is wise to skip these EVs for a while. Although they are unlikely to consider a hyper-futuristic Chinese EV of nearly 70,000 euros any time soon. But tech enthusiasts, influencers and motorists who really want to stand out on the road can find the cars here: Hiphi X and Hiphi Z
