This ‘affordable Lamborghini Urus’ is coming to the Netherlands soon
Omoda 4
After the Omoda 5, 7 and 9, it is now time for the Omoda 4: a compact crossover with sharp lines and a very futuristic design. The car was unveiled in Wuhu, home of parent company Chery, and will come to the Netherlands in the second half of 2026. Originally called Omoda 3, the brand has now renamed it Omoda 4.

Mini-Urus
Anyone who sees the Omoda 4 immediately understands why we describe it as a mini-Lamborghini Urus. Broad shoulders, low roofline, aggressive nose and a hefty rear spoiler – subtle it is not. Inside, the Lamborghini theme continues merrily: a sleek dashboard, diamond-shaped buttons and a start button under a red cover – exactly like in, yes…a Lamborghini Urus.

Cyber-Mecha
According to Omoda, the design is based on something they call Cyber-Mecha. Think a mix of stealth fighter, robots from an anime series and a touch of sci-fi. Lead designer Arturo Arino puts it this way himself, “We wanted to make something exciting that doesn’t get lost in the gray matter.” Well, we succeeded. According to the brand, the Omoda 4 is aimed at young drivers who like to stand out – for a reasonable amount of money. What exactly it will cost, however, Omoda is still keeping an open mind.

Omoda 4 Ultra
The Omoda 4 Ultra is the sporty version, distinguished by a large rear spoiler, splitter under the front bumper, sideskirts and yellow brake calipers. Under the hood is a hybrid powertrain with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine as well as an electric motor, together good for 204 hp. An all-electric variant will also follow later. With the compact crossover, Omoda will compete with models such as the Kia EV3, Renault 4 E-Tech and Jeep Avenger.
