The survey, based on as many as 460,000 reviews from 132,000 unique users of Chargemap in 2024, provides a clear picture of preferred charging experiences in different countries. Below are the results for the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France.

Netherlands

In the Netherlands, Tesla Superchargers is the number one spot. Users appreciate the combination of fast charging, reliability and good value for money. GreenFlux achieves a handsome second place, praised for its flexibility and innovative solutions. Fastned completes the top three.

Belgium

Our neighbors to the south prefer EnergyDrive as the best charging network. The good infrastructure, consistent service quality and attractive prices play a major role in this. Electra follows in second place, while Fastned also manages to secure a podium spot in Belgium.

Germany

In Germany, the honor goes to Solid GmbH / Ladeverbund Franken. Users speak highly of the powerful and reliable infrastructure. Tesla Superchargers can also be found here in second place, followed by IONITY in third place.

France

As in the Netherlands, Tesla Superchargers also tops the list in France. Fastned follows closely behind, and is praised by the French for its ultra-fast charging stations and reliable service. Electra, which is rapidly expanding in France, grabs third place.

Speed and price are important

Chargemap’s research shows that there are clear favorites among charging networks. Factors such as speed, reliability, price and service play an important role in the user experience. Tesla Superchargers scores high in several countries and Fastned also manages to secure a spot in the top three in several countries.
