The very, very, very last Aventador
Now the very last one
Earlier this year, Lamborghini announced that it had had enough of producing the Aventador. But when dozens of Lamborghinis, including several Aventadors, hit the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, the Italians decided to make 15 more special Ultimae editions. The last one just rolled off the and it is a very nice one indeed!
Lamborghini Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae Roadster
It’s quite a mouthful: the Lamborghini Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae Roadster. A beast with 780 hp and 780 Nm from a V12 roaring right behind your head. Power is distributed to all four wheels, helping the bull reach 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and even 200 km/h in 8.7 seconds. All that without a roof. Yummy!
Special colors
A final model is not a farewell model without a special color. This Aventador also features a nice color scheme. The livery of this Ultimae Roadster was inspired by that of the roofless Lamborghini Miura P400 Roadster, a one-off show car that was on display at the Brussels Motor Show in April 1968.
The blue color is called Azzuro Flake and specially developed for the Swiss buyer, who has been able to personalize everything through the Ad Personam program. So there is no other Aventador with the same livery, a true one-off in other words. The blue color contrasts nicely against the Grigio Liqueo parts on the lower half of the car. Chic composition if you ask us. Especially in combination with the shiny silver rims, which of course are another hint to the Miura.
