The ugliest Lamborghini replica ever is for sale in the Netherlands

In general, we are not fans of replicas. Because they are based on the base of another car, the proportions almost never match. Yet there are also exceptions. Take for example this Bugatti Chiron replica, created in a ramshackle shed in Vietnam by a bunch of handy guys without professional tools. A successful project, if you ask us.

Lamborghini Aventador

That things often go wrong with replicas is proven by the ‘Lamborghini Aventador’ for sale in Almelo. Consequently, the car company selling the “Lambo” describes the car as a “separate Toyota Supra 3.0 i Turbo with a Lamborghini Aventador bodykit. Separate is the case for sure.

The Toyota Supra has been given an obvious body kit, but we don’t see the lines of a Lamborghini Aventador in it. The nose section in particular has little in common with an Aventador. The (fake) air intakes at the bottom of the front bumper are the only elements that are somewhat reminiscent of an Aventador.

Beautifully done

According to the salesman, we are seeing it totally wrong. In the ad, he describes the project as “beautifully done with a look of a €200,000 car!”. Inflation drives up car prices firmly, but this is going a bit far for us. Do you agree with the seller and see yourself driving this “Toyota Supra 3.0i Turbo Lamborghini Aventador Bodykit”?
