The best road trips past Europe’s most famous casinos

The best way to travel through Europe is, of course, with a road trip. You can get into your own car from the Netherlands and drive along the most beautiful places. In a few hours you are often in a completely different world and this makes a road trip extra attractive. But did you know that you can make a very nice road trip along Europe’s most famous casinos? Start simple and spend a night in Breda

This road trip starts first with a short trip to Breda. Of course, it depends a bit on where exactly you live how long this trip will take. We recommend spending a night here as well. After all, Breda is home to one of the finest casinos in the Netherlands. Of course, you want to experience this especially in the evening so an overnight stay to continue fresh tomorrow would be smart. Then pay a visit to the Holland Casino Breda. This casino is built in a former Monastery Barracks and in the past the Nuns literally lived next door to the casino. It is a beautiful building where the old details are still visible. Drive on to the Wiesbaden casino in Wiesbaden

We are now going to drive our first stretch until just below Frankfurt in the town of Wiesbaden. You’ll find an extraordinary casino that has been around for more than 290 years. This casino is located in a former Kurhaus. For years it has been called one of the most beautiful casinos in Europe and here you have to go inside. By the way, you have to pay an entrance fee to get in. Fortunately, it is a small amount of 2.50 euros. This is mainly to prevent people from coming just for the beautiful building. Near the French border you will find the Baden Baden casino.

From Wiesbaden we now drive two hours further down into southern Germany. You see nature changing, but also an imposing casino. The Baden Baden casino is just a few kilometers from the French border. We will now spend a day in the car and drive 850 km to Monaco. A totally different world from Baden Baden or Wiesbaden. This is the place where the glitz, glamour and rich come to gamble. The Monte Carlo Casino is known for the stars that come to play here. It is perhaps one of the most famous casinos in the world, but also one of the most beautiful. In doing so, it is certainly not wrong to spend a few nights in Monaco. This is a wonderful end to a road trip through Europe past the continent’s most famous casinos.
