The 10 cheapest gas stations per province (and throughout the Netherlands)

Fuel card
If you have a company fuel card, you probably don’t pay much attention to fuel prices and just fill up when it’s convenient. Preferably at a gas station along the highway, nice and easy. MultiTankcard – a supplier of fuel and charge cards – has done some useful research for all Dutch people without a fuel card – or who don’t want to put the boss to high expenses. They mapped the cheapest gas stations in our country by province.
Cheapest Euro95
The study focused on the liter price of more than 4,000 gas stations that had joined the MultiTankcard payment platform in the past year. We looked at the price of the most common fuel in the Netherlands: E10 gasoline (Euro95). This is an average liter price – calculated over the entire year – because gasoline prices obviously vary enormously from day to day and sometimes even from hour to hour.
Cheapest gasoline in the Netherlands
The survey shows that for the cheapest E10 gasoline, you have to be outside the Randstad. In 2023, the cheapest way to fill up your tank was in Borculo. At gas station Kuster Olie, the price in 2023 averaged 1.7510 euros for a liter of E10 (Euro95). Fieten Olie in Uithuizen, Groningen and Firezone in Doetinchem complete the top three cheapest gas stations in 2023.
Gasoline cheaper than last year
In 2022, the cheapest gas station was still in Zeeland. At gas station Gebroeders Mangnus, the price averaged 1.9535 euros in 2022. In 2021, the cheapest gas station was still in Uithuizen, 26 kilometers above the city of Groningen. At Sietsema-Sakko gas station, the average price was then 1.655 euros for a liter of E10.
Cheapest diesel
For inexpensive diesel, go to Tamoil in Sluis, Zeeland. In 2023, the average diesel price there was 1.546 euros per liter. Gas station Scandinavian and gas station Roeleveld-Rolink seem to be engaged in a price war in the Overijssel town of Denekampen, taking second and third place.
Below are the 10 cheapest gas stations by province for E10 gasoline (Euro95).
