Tesla Model Y now also available as a seven-seater
Only for Model Y Long Range All-Wheel Drive
The seven-seat option is available only for the Tesla Model Y Long Range All-Wheel Drive. The two additional seats have an additional cost of 2,500 euros.
Third row
Compared to a five-seat Tesla Model Y, this new interior configuration offers a third row with two forward-facing seats that fold down to increase luggage space. The third row of seats is easily accessible thanks to entry buttons on the backs of the outer seats in the second row. When pressed, the second row seat slides forward and its backrest folds forward for easy entry and exit. The third row of seats also has two USB-C connectors.
Luggage space
The seven-seat Tesla Model Y has a cargo volume of up to 2,040 liters. Because this model was designed from the outset as an electric vehicle and thus lacks a large fuel engine in the front and a fuel tank in the rear, a space of 117 liters under the front lid and a space of 363 liters behind the third row of seats are available for luggage. This means that even when all seven interior seats are occupied there is still room for two small suitcases in the luggage compartment and two large bags in the front trunk. When the third row of seats is folded down, with 753 liters of space, there is plenty of room for a stroller, scooters or a folding bed.
