Subsidy buster? Nissan Ariya 87 kWh for less than 45 grand
Limted Editions
With the new Limited Editions of the Ariya, Qashqai and X-Trail, Nissan immediately introduces three models with extra favorable pricing. The all-electric Nissan Ariya Limited Edition even qualifies for the Electric Passenger Car Subsidy Scheme (SEPP). And not just the version with the 63 kWh battery. That one comes from 41,990 euros, but the 87 battery Ariya comes from 44,990 euros. With this, both versions of the Nissan Ariya meet the requirements for the SEPP. The subsidy is a lump sum of 2,950 euros when buying or a monthly contribution of 61.45 euros over a period of 48 months when private leasing.
Ariya Engage
The Nissan Ariya Limited Edition is based on the Engage version with 2WD and available with a choice of two powertrain variants. The version with the 63 kWh battery is good for an output of 160 kW (217 hp), 300 Nm of torque and a range of up to 404 km (WLTP). The stylish crossover also comes with the 87 kWh battery and a range of up to 536 km, while the electric motor sends 178 kW (242 hp) and 300 Nm to the front wheels.
The Limited Edition of the Nissan Ariya features include LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, front and rear parking assist and the Intelligent Key. You also get a rearview camera, intelligent cruise control and blind spot detection. Even a heat pump – often a pricey option – is available.
Nissan Qashqai Limited Edition
With the Limited Edition of the Qashqai, Nissan introduces a version based on the N-Connecta. However, silver roof rails and a panoramic glass roof with power sunblinds are added. In terms of propulsion, there is a choice between the Mild-Hybrid 140 gasoline engine with a manual transmission and the 140 kW (190 hp) e-Power technology with semi-electric drive.
Prices for the Nissan Qashqai Limited Edition start at €37,290 and €40,790 for the Mild-Hybrid 140 and e-Power, respectively, increasing the price advantage to €5,000 over the equivalent N-Connecta version including Design Pack.
Nissan X-Trail Limited Edition
The Nissan X-Trail Limited Edition is also based on the N-Connecta trim, and on top of that it offers a panoramic sliding/tilting roof with power sunshade and an adjustable second row of seats (length and recline).
The e-Power powertrain with 2WD, 150 kW (204 hp) and 330 Nm of torque is standard on the X-Trail Limited Edition. Prices for the SUV start at 49,940 euros, making the Limited Edition version priced 6,000 euros lower than the equivalent N-Connecta version including Lounge Pack.
The new Limited Editions of the Ariya, Qashqai and X-Trail are available immediately from stock. Buyers can therefore hit the road with their new Nissan as early as this spring.
