Spotted: a Mazda 323 Turbo 4×4

Strong powertrain

There is an extremely potent power source under the hood, which helped the car achieve very decent performance despite its increased weight. The 1.6 features double overhead camshafts and, of course, has sixteen valves. Fuel injection and a turbocharger provided even greater performance potential and boosted power to 103 kW (140 hp). There was also a limited edition, the GT-Ae with 110 kW (150 hp).

60,000 guilders!

The car cost nearly 60,000 guilders in the early 1990s. Top speed is 210 km/h, while the sprint to one hundred should be just under eight seconds. The bodywork is also different from that of a regular 323, with stiffer sills and a reinforced bottom section. You rarely see them in this condition.
