Special promotion: this brand temporarily pays purchase tax (bpm) for you

March 11, 2025

Bpm exemption gone

Since Jan. 1, 2025, gray license plate commercial vehicles are no longer exempt from bpm. This led to a huge run on company cars in 2024. Entrepreneurs who did not have the financial room to invest at the time, or who are just starting out, are out of luck and are now paying a hefty extra for a new company car.

Bpm

Still, there is a way out. Fully electric commercial vehicles largely avoid the bpm tax, which mostly affects fuel-engine vehicles. But not everyone can switch to electric driving right away. Maybe you drive a lot of long distances or you can’t charge at home or at work. A plug-in hybrid company car is then another option, but still comes with a hefty bpm charge.

Up to thousands of euros of benefit

Ford Pro wants to win over entrepreneurs who hesitate about buying a plug-in hybrid commercial vehicle by temporarily taking care of the bpm. The discount amounts to thousands of euros, depending on the model. Especially buyers of a Ranger PHEV benefit the most, but the Transit Custom PHEV and Transit Connect PHEV also become a lot friendlier to the wallet thanks to this promotion.

Extra benefit for quick decision makers

Those who shift gears quickly will grab even more advantage. That’s because Ford Pro is adding an extra discount on selected PHEV versions from stock. But note: the promotion is of course temporary. On the Ford Pro website read more about the bpm promotion.
