Smart #5 Brabus: electric powerhouse with 400 kW fast charging power
Smart #5 Brabus: all-wheel drive and two electric motors
Under the skin, the Smart #5 Brabus features an electric all-wheel drive system with two electric motors. The system output comes out to 475 kW (646 hp) with 710 Nm of torque. That’s enough power to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 210 km/h. Thanks to the 100 kWh battery – 94 kWh of which is usable – the Brabus version achieves 540 km on a full charge of power. DC charging can take the car up to 400 kW, enough charging power to recharge the battery from 10 to 80 percent in less than 18 minutes. AC charging is possible up to 22 kW. A lightweight this Smart is not. It weighs 2,378 kilograms empty.
Quickly switching between driving modes
The Smart #5 Brabus features an exclusive Brabus driving mode. With it, you get instant throttle response, sharper steering adjustment and a sportier suspension. In addition, you can switch between various modes such as Comfort, Eco and Off-road. The latter mode adjusts torque between front and rear axles to maintain grip even on loose sand or mud. For those who want even more control: a Hill Descent Control system is also active.

Synthetic Brabus sound
Unique to the Brabus version is its own artificial engine sound. Via an integrated sound system, a rally-inspired engine sound is reproduced in sport mode to match the car’s character. This sound is synchronized through the external speakers so that bystanders can also hear it – something that is not a matter of course with electric cars.
Chairs that embrace you
Inside, the Smart #5 has Brabus seats covered in a combination of microfiber and leather-look material. The red decorative stitching and Brabus logos add a sporty touch. The seats are designed with plenty of lateral support, ideal for those who like active driving. In addition, they are heatable and ventilation is available as an option – comfort for every season. The luggage compartment holds from 630 to 1,530 liters, depending on the rear seat position. The frunk (front luggage compartment) has a volume of 47 liters.

Design with Brabus signature
On the outside, you immediately recognize the Brabus version: black details, red accents on the mirrors, bumpers and in the grille. The 21-inch wheels are also specifically designed for this Smart #5 Brabus. The optional panoramic “Halo roof” provides a light and spacious experience inside.
Lots of ADAS
The Smart #5 Brabus is equipped with a wide range of driver assistance systems (ADAS). Think adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking assistance and a 360-degree camera system. For ease of use when parking, automatic parking assistance is even available.
Built on SEA platform from Geely
The #5 Brabus uses Geely’s modular SEA platform. This platform supports both compact and large electric-powered vehicles and is known for its flexibility and scalability. This platform allows smart to develop new models relatively quickly, with a solid foundation in terms of technology and safety.
