Smaller chance of being caught with Audi A6 Avant ‘SIV Light’ by police?
Audi A6 Avant SIV Light
In Assen, the police took the first SIV Light into service on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023. This is a brand new Audi A6 Avant, but not with a 3.0 TDI, but a 2.0 TDI four-cylinder turbo diesel engine. “This vehicle has been given the designation SIV Light, so you can think of it as the little farmer of the normal SIV,” Assen police said on Instagram.
204 hp strong
The diesel has an output of 150 kW, or 204 hp in conversion. Of course, this is the value on paper. Chances are the turbodiesel or has extra peppery software, as do many other police vehicles. By the way, the turbodiesel involves a mild-hybrid, because when braking, the system recovers some energy via the starter/dynamo.
Price Audi A6 Avant SIV Light
Very cheap police SIV Light is not. The vehicle in question has a price tag of 89,523 euros, RDW registration data show. The performance? The 0-100 sprint takes just under 8 seconds and the top speed comes out to around 240 km/h. By the way, on the registration papers, the body color is black. But after the police wrap, that is no longer the case. Thanks to quattro all-wheel drive , the police do still have a nice amount of grip.

Those who want to buy an Audi A6 Avant with the same turbodiesel in the Netherlands are out of luck. The Dutch price list shows only gasoline hybrids. The cheapest A6 Avant is a 40 TFSI MHEV with 204 hp and S-tronic 7 automatic transmission. Price tag: 70,544 euros.
