Skoda warms us up for its first electric station wagon

August 25, 2025

Electric station wagon

The station wagon is the body type that made Skoda big in Europe, with extremely practical models such as the Octavia Combi and the Superb Combi. Now that families are increasingly switching to electric driving, the brand wants to offer a practical alternative in that segment as well. And as it does with the introduction of a new model, Skoda kicks off with a teaser campaign – which has now officially begun.

Vision O

Officially, the curtain does not come off until September 8 at the IAA Mobility in Munich, but for those who can’t wait, a teaser of the Vision O is already available. Skoda provides a first glimpse of the interior with a dark image – and it looks anything but traditional. In the image below, hardly anything can be discerned, but the contours of a huge screen do stand out.

New interpretation of ‘Modern Solid’

The design of the Vision O fits within Skoda’s “Modern Solid” style – known from the Elroq and the redesigned Enyaq – but has been further developed, according to the brand. In doing so, the Czechs emphasize that the interior is uncluttered and functional, without superfluous menus or unnecessary layers. The idea: you get in and immediately understand how everything works, without drowning in buttons and screens.

Just a little more patience

We won’t get to see more than an interior teaser and a vague silhouette for now. Details will remain a secret for a while. The full reveal will follow during the IAA on September 8. AutoRAI.nl will of course be present on the show floor, so keep a close eye on our site and YouTube channel.
